On March 26, 2025, 22 students of the Hushchynets Vocational School, accompanied by Deputy Director for Educational Work Yulia Stasiuk and social educator Kateryna Zubchuk, visited the Vinnytsia Regional Museum of Local Lore, Vinnytsia Regional Art Museum, the Kotsiubynskyi Museum and the Vinnytsia Tower.
The event was held as part of the artistic and educational program “Journey Through the Ages” initiated by Vinnytsia Vocational School with the participation of Valentina Ivanova, a methodologist of the artistic and aesthetic direction.
The students got acquainted with the updated exhibitions of the art museum, among which they were especially impressed by “New Senses” by teacher Liudmyla Bondar. The exposition presents artistic and textile compositions that are marked with symbolic allegories. The plot-decorative images and the author's method of painting the Ukrainian scarf did not leave indifferent the young people, who were surprised by the variety of colors and techniques in the exhibits of the master. Liudmyla Bondar, our fellow countrywoman, was recently awarded a Diploma of the Ukrainian Book of Records for preserving Trypillia ornamentation and reflecting fragments of historical events and tragic stories related to the current war.
Olga Izmaykova, scientific secretary, guided the audience through all the exhibition halls and provided comprehensive information about the historical exhibits of the Art Museum. Vinnytsia Tower has always been an interesting location for introducing the history of the city of Vinnytsia to students. The Artynov Tower is considered a symbol of the city, a historic building, and has its own exhibition space and observation deck.
The open space of the Mykhailo Kotsiubynskyi Literary and Memorial Museum was sunny and hospitable to the students. Yana Lysenko, a researcher at the museum, led the students along the spring paths of the writer's life and familiarized them with interesting facts of Kotsiubynsky's biography. The visitors also visited the restored house of the writer and got acquainted with the historical exhibits that are kept there.
Tetiana Voynarovska, a senior staff member of the Local History Museum, continues to introduce the students to the exhibition “UKRAINE'S SHIELD”, which recreates the historical events of the Revolution of Dignity and the Russian-Ukrainian war. The stories of friends and relatives whom we have been losing for many years do not leave anyone indifferent and remain forever in our memory.
We sincerely thank the administration of the Hushchynetske School, the trade union organization and personally the director of the school, Volodymyr Havryliuk, for the excellent organization of the trip, providing transportation and a delicious lunch for all participants of the trip, which was attended by vulnerable categories of students: children from low-income families, combatants, missing persons and orphans.
See you soon and have new adventures!
