The Armed Forces are the people who are responsible not only for the territorial integrity and independence of our country, but also for the future and lives of all Ukrainians. The event was attended by 45 students from Vinnytsia Vocational School No. 11 and Vinnytsia Higher Vocational School of Services.
Yuriy Kalashnikov and Oleh Osavoliuk, military personnel who took part in the fighting in the east of the country, spoke about their service and the war through the eyes of the military. They emphasized that public support is very important for the military and their families.
The evening continued with speeches by Yaryna Krasovska, the mother of military personnel, and Oleksandr Rak, an artist, songwriter and volunteer.
Students of the Vinnytsia Professional College of Arts named after M. D. Leontovych Angelina Mykolaychuk and Olena Hapeshina recited poems for all those present.
Lyubov Soltan and members of the pop vocal studio “Victoria” (headed by Diana Ptashynska) presented wonderful songs to the audience.
Everyone had the opportunity to get acquainted with the book exhibition “Pages of Military History of Ukraine”.
In conclusion, Halyna Slotiuk, acting director of the Vinnytsia Regional Universal Scientific Library, once again thanked the military and emphasized that victory is a common cause for everyone, also spoke about the volunteer activities of the library staff and presented letters of appreciation to the participants.
