On January 22, Ukraine celebrates Unity Day in accordance with Presidential Decree No. 42 of January 21, 1999, on the Day of Unity of Ukraine. 106 years ago, the two banks of the Dnipro River, two parts of Ukraine, united into a single state. This event became a symbol of the unity of the Ukrainian people and their desire to live in a single independent state.
