On April 29, the V. Atamanovsky Vinnytsia Regional Universal Scientific Library hosted a Bibliography Day on “Ecology and Sustainable Development: Sources and Research”, which brought together all those interested in environmental awareness and the future of the planet. The event was attended by 33 students from Vinnytsia Vocational School 7, Vinnytsia Vocational School 1, and Vinnytsia Vocational School 11.
The Bibliography Day began with a lecture by Tetiana Mazur, Head of the Scientific Information and Bibliography Department, who revealed the basics of ecology and sustainable development, outlined the directions of current research, and focused on the importance of bibliography in shaping environmental awareness.
The practical part included a consultation on finding reliable information on the Internet, where participants learned how to work effectively with scientometric databases, environmental platforms, and open research archives.
Everyone had the opportunity to see the exhibition “Environmental Choices for the Future”, which featured the most important publications on climate change, energy efficiency, and environmental policy.
The event became a platform for knowledge exchange and contributed to the formation of environmental awareness among its participants.
