💻 On October 29, the V. Otamanovsky Vinnytsia Regional Universal Scientific Library hosted an interactive training session entitled “Effective Tools for Accessing and Protecting Information” for 25 students from the Vinnytsia City Vocational Training Center No. 1 and Vinnytsia City Vocational School No. 11. The event was organized as part of Cybersecurity Month in collaboration with the Vinnytsia State Center for Aesthetic Education of Vocational School Students.
💡 Participants learned:
• how to recognize phishing;
• what digital privacy is;
• how to protect themselves from harmful content;
• why it is important to be careful when meeting people and playing games online.
👩🏫 Trainers Marina Semik, head of the Regional Training Center sector, and Galina Gerasymchuk, librarian of the 2nd category of the Department of New Technologies, Economics, and Legal Sciences, explained in an accessible and practical way how to protect yourself in the digital world.
