On April 30 and May 1, 2025, a real journey into the world of history, art and space horizons began for 53 students from Hushchynets Vocational School and Vocational School 42. As part of the artistic and educational program Journey Through the Ages, initiated by the Vinnytsia State Center for Aesthetic Education of Vocational School Students, young people plunged into the fascinating space of the cultural heritage of their native land.
The first chord of this journey was the Vinnytsia Museum of Local Lore, the keeper of historical truth and indomitable spirit. Here the youth touched the eternal - the exhibition “UKRAINE'S SHIELD”. The exhibition impresses with its emotional power and historical truth, recreating the events of the Revolution of Dignity and the Russian-Ukrainian war. This is not just an exhibition - it is a living lesson in courage, dignity and memory. Each exhibit contains pain, hope, and courage. In every corner is the voice of the people defending their land...
Next, the excursionists were waiting for artistic discoveries. The students had the opportunity to visit the exhibition “Taras's Paths” by the famous Ukrainian sculptor, People's Artist of Ukraine, teacher Anatolii Kushch, which is dedicated to the figure of Kobzar and his spiritual heritage, talentedly embodied in monumental forms.
The students got acquainted with the picturesque photo exhibition “Crimea: from Sudak to Feodosia” by Valerii Pankoshi. The artist's works impress with their landscape skill and atmosphere, conveying the beauty of the Crimean expanses and preserving the memory of the Ukrainian cultural presence in the region.
During their acquaintance with the contemporary expositions, they were particularly impressed by the exhibition “New Senses” by our compatriot, teacher and artist Liudmyla Bondar; by the plot and decorative images; and by the author's technique of painting Ukrainian scarves.
These artistic meetings have become a source of inspiration for young people, encouraging them to deepen their understanding of the historical and cultural values of our nation.
The trip culminated in a meeting with the stars - in the literal sense of the word. In the heart of Vinnytsia's Central City Park, where nature and architecture merge into a harmonious unity, the Vinnytsia Planetarium is one of the best in Ukraine. Its educational programs with astronomical shows have become a real cosmic discovery for our travelers, igniting sparks of curiosity and dreams in their hearts.
We are sincerely grateful to the administrations of vocational education institutions for their attention to the spiritual development of young people, for caring about their cultural enrichment, and for special support for students from vulnerable categories. Such trips shape the worldview, open up new horizons, and leave a light in the heart for life.
