On November 21, Ukraine celebrates Dignity and Freedom Day, a symbol of the indomitable spirit of our people and their desire for freedom, democracy, and national unity. This date unites two fateful events in recent history: the Orange Revolution of 2004 and the Revolution of Dignity of 2013.📖 “The Autumn That Changed Us” – under this title, on the occasion of this memorable date, a patriotic hour was held at the V. Otamanovsky Vinnytsia Regional Universal Scientific Library with the participation of 20 students from the Vinnytsia Professional College of Services.
🤝 The event was organized in cooperation with the Vinnytsia State Center for Aesthetic Education of Students of Vocational and Technical Educational Institutions.
🔹 Natalia Kozak, chief librarian of the department, spoke about the history of the holiday, emphasizing its main goal – to preserve the memory of heroes and support the aspirations of Ukrainians for independence.
🔹 Volodymyr Lazarenko, head of the Ukrainian Studies Department at the Vinnytsia Academy of Continuing Education, shared his thoughts on the significance of the Revolution of Dignity, its role in shaping national identity, and its impact on the contemporary development of Ukrainian society.
