📅 On October 14, the V. Otamanovsky Vinnytsia Regional Universal Scientific Library hosted a presentation of a new book by Vasyl Volodymyrovych Kizka, a distinguished journalist, human rights activist, and volunteer, entitled “My Foreign Lands,” which was attended by 16 students from VPU No. 11 in Vinnytsia. This is the author's fifth book dedicated to his many years of work outside Ukraine—in Moldova, Latvia, and Israel.
🌍 Vasyl Kizka is the only Ukrainian journalist accredited to the Moldovan Ministry of Foreign Affairs for almost 10 years. His successful work in Moldova led to further work trips to other countries. In the book, he shares his experience in international journalism, his assessments of historical events, and his communication with politicians and colleagues from abroad.
💬 Online greetings were sent by journalist and coordinator of the Delta-24 project Marianna Prysyazhnyuk. Svitlana Tyapina (Israeli Embassy) and Raisa Voronenko (Korpunkt Publishing House) also joined the presentation.
Library director Halyna Slotyuk presented the author with a letter of appreciation for her cooperation and spoke about the librarians' assistance in preparing the book, in particular, digitizing the materials.
🎤 The meeting took the form of a lively conversation that captivated everyone present.
👏 Thank you to all participants for an interesting event and inspiration!
