On April 17, 2025, in the reading room of the Legal Information Sector of the V. Atamanovsky Vocational Library, an information hour was held within the framework of the youth legal lecture “Themis” on the topic “From personal consciousness to legal responsibility” for 32 students of the State Institution “Center for Vocational Education No. 1 of Vinnytsia”. Vinnytsia" and the Vinnytsia Center for Vocational Education of the Processing Industry.
They shared their knowledge and experience with the participants of the event:- ''Violation of environmental legislation: how to recognize and what is provided for it'', Yuriy Dubovyi, Head of the State Environmental Inspectorate in Vinnytsia Oblast;
- ''Environmental awareness of an individual and society'', Olena Yavorska, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Botany and Ecology of Vasyl' Stus Donetsk National University.
This event was an important step in raising environmental awareness among young people, as students were able to learn about the role of legal norms in environmental protection and understand how their personal responsibility can affect the environment.
It is important that such a joint discussion between experts and students not only deepens knowledge, but also stimulates practical awareness of everyone's role in nature protection. This is a really important step towards forming a generation that will be responsible for the environment and understand how their actions can change the future of the planet.
