World Environment Day, which is celebrated annually, is a reminder of the importance of environmental protection and our joint efforts to save the planet.
On this occasion, on April 17, students of Vinnytsia Vocational School No. 11 joined the information day “Environmental Consciousness - Challenges of the Present” organized within the framework of the environmental month “Eco-Education. Eco-education. Eco-Education” by Diana Belous and Hanna Hryhoruk, specialists of the Humanities, Technical and Natural Sciences Department of the Vinnytsia Regional Scientific Library named after V. Otamanovskyi.
During the event, the students got acquainted with the bibliographic literature review “Global Environmental Problems: A Modern View”, which analyzes in depth the environmental lessons of the past and present. They also took part in an interactive test to determine how “green” their hearts are, and tested their knowledge in a thematic quiz.
The future of the planet and future generations directly depends on everyone's environmental awareness. Even the smallest actions can make a difference, because only by working together can we protect nature and ensure harmonious coexistence with it for our descendants.
