The information hour “From thread to harmful emissions: ecology of the fashion industry” held on April 16 at the Vinnytsia Regional Universal Scientific Library named after V. Otamanovsky was a frank conversation about fashion as a conscious choice that affects our future.
During the event, 30 students of Vinnytsia Higher Vocational School of Services and Vinnytsia Vocational School 1 learned that the popularity of fast fashion threatens the environment, forcing us to reconsider our consumer habits, and that beautiful showcases of fashion brands hide complex issues that require the attention of each of us.
The practical tasks gave us the opportunity to take a critical look at our own wardrobe, as our daily choices can make a real contribution to protecting the planet.
Small steps, such as reusing, sorting clothes, or choosing quality items instead of fast fashion, make a big difference.
Let's make fashion more environmentally friendly and responsible together!
Let's start the change today!
