On March 20, 2025, the Vinnytsia State Center for Aesthetic Education of VET held a seminar for the heads of tourist and local history clubs, museums and museum rooms of VET institutions on the basis of the Mykhailo Kotsiubynskyi Museum on the topic: “Innovative approaches to the educational process in the classes of the tourist and local history club”.
The event was held with the participation of the museum director Larysa Kravchenko, the Center's deputy director for methodological work Olena Atamanenko, methodologist Valentyna Ivanova, museum researchers and pedagogical staff of the VET school.
During the seminar, the following issues were discussed: fostering patriotic feelings by involving students in research work in the archive; activation of national and patriotic education of students through the introduction of interactive technologies.
Larysa Kravchenko, director of the museum, thoroughly covered the topic “Museum lessons and museum pedagogy as an innovative technology of the educational process.”
Darka Tomkova, a student of Vinnytsia Interregional Higher Vocational School, head of the NGO No/WE, and member of the DAR Leadership Academy, spoke about the importance of the Ukrainian language and presented a presentation entitled “Ukrainian Language as Immunity from Colonization.”
Vitaliy Kermash shared with the audience the experience of the Podolyany historical and local history club of the Vinnytsia Vocational School, which operates on the basis of the Vinnytsia Interregional Higher Vocational School.
At the end of the meeting, the seminar participants were given an excursion to see the museum's archival exhibits and Mykhailo Kotsiubynskyi's restored house.
