January 22, 1919, was included in the national calendar as a great national holiday of unification and unity of our people, which reminds us that Ukraine is indivisible.
On the eve of the Day of Unity of Ukraine, January 21, 2025, the Department of Documents on Humanities, Technical and Natural Sciences of the Vinnytsia Regional Scientific Library held a historical hour “Unity of Ukraine: Unity of Spirituality and Strength”. The event was attended by 20 pupils of the Center, students of the Vinnytsia Vocational School No. 11.
During the historical hour, all those present watched a documentary about these fateful events and got acquainted with a book exhibition dedicated to this remarkable date.
According to the organizers of the event, despite the partial occupation of our lands, we remain a united nation. On this day, January 22, a little more than a century after the proclamation of the Unification Act, we are united as never before in defending our independence and statehood. And after the victory over the Russian aggressor, Ukraine will finally establish its unity.
