On November 28, 2024, the Vinnytsia Regional Universal Scientific Library hosted the final screening of the documentary film In the Net, a participant of the 21st Docudays UA Travelling International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival, created by directors Vit Kloosak and Barbara Khalupova. This strong and emotional film highlighted the important and painful issue of child sexual abuse by telling the story of an experiment where adult actresses pretended to be 12-year-old girls on popular social networks.
The screening was organized within the framework of cooperation between the Vinnytsia State Center for Aesthetic Education of Vocational School Students and the Vinnytsia Regional Universal Scientific Library named after V. Otamanovsky for 30 students of Vinnytsia Vocational School #11.
The screening was organized thanks to the regional coordinators: Vitaliy Dorokh, Head of the Board of the Khmilnyk District NGO PRAVO, and Oksana Yatsiuk, a public activist, information security trainer, and Head of the Board of the Podil Center for Social Technologies.
The organizers of the event expressed their gratitude to everyone who joined the screening for their indifference and willingness to discuss complex but extremely important issues that require attention and action.
